Terms of Service

Clear operational guidelines, field safety standards, and mutual commitments for all learners, fellows, and enterprise partners.

Effective Date: September 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the website (`precisionfieldacademy.com`), submitting an inquiry, enrolling in an instructional programme, or participating in flight field operations with Precision Field Academy (“PFA”, “we”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or enroll in our programmes.

2. Educational Programmes & Certification

PFA offers vocational, academic, and executive training in agricultural drones, remote sensing, GIS mapping, and precision farming. Course completion certificates and digital credentials are awarded strictly upon fulfilling minimum attendance thresholds, practical flight evaluations, and capstone project submissions.

3. Aviation Safety & Flight Field Compliance

Agricultural drone operations carry inherent operational risks. Safety is our non-negotiable priority:

  • Instructor Command: During live flight training and spray trials, the designated Chief Flight Instructor exercises absolute authority over airspace operations, battery disconnects, and emergency procedures.
  • Aviation Law Compliance: Students must strictly obey Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations, airspace restrictions, and no-fly zones. Reckless flying, unauthorized BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) flights, or breach of safety corridors will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
  • Agrochemical Handling: Participants in spray drone modules must wear prescribed PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow chemical safety protocols during all mixing and loading exercises.

4. Intellectual Property

All curriculum syllabi, flight simulator guides, training slides, diagnostic frameworks, and educational media produced by PFA remain the exclusive intellectual property of Precision Field Academy and Integrated Aerial Precision (IAP). Students retain ownership of original analytical models or venture business plans formulated during capstone modules.

5. Weather Delays & Cohort Deferrals

Outdoor drone flights require safe atmospheric conditions. In the event of severe weather, high wind shear, or civil aviation airspace temporary flight restrictions (TFRs), flight sessions may be rescheduled. PFA reserves the right to adjust practical field dates to ensure the total safety of personnel and equipment.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PFA, its directors, instructors, and parent enterprise shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime or third-party hardware failures.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these terms shall first be subject to good-faith commercial negotiation before submission to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
